I continue to wake up in the morning to read the Mahabharata—something I started doing over the summer. At first I used a vibrating alarm on my watch (a Fitbit I bought just because it has this silent-alarm feature), but my body has now been trained to wake up at this time, so usually I’m up at 5 AM no matter what. My daughter has started sleeping in more, so she doesn’t even wake up until 6:45 or 7:00 AM, which gives me plenty of time.
