Publishing short fiction on Substack is doable, but not easy

It's been around a month, for me, of posting short fiction on the internet. Two of my stories have gotten shared widely and driven new subscribers–the other three had a more muted reaction, but there hasn't been a mass of people canceling their subscriptions so...I guess I'm gonna keep doing it.
